The podere Le Rogheta at 1 km from Campiglia d'Orcia in the province of Siena is situated in a hilly area and shows a splendid panoramic view over the valley. We are in the Cultural-Natural-Artistic Park of Val d'Orcia. In 2004 the Val d'Orcia was proclaimed World Heritage centre by UNESCO.

A region that blends the unique beauty of the Tuscan countryside with famous and striking artistic cities and villages like Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, San Quirico d'Orcia, suggestive thermal places like Bagno Vignoni and Bagni San Filippo and small hamlets stuck in the past. It takes about one hour and a half to reach Alberese, a protected area in the Uccellina Park, at the seaside near Grosseto. However it takes less than one hour to reach the beautiful Bolsena Lake as well as the Etruscan sites of Sovana, Pitigliano and Sorano.
